The Colombo Ice Company (CICL), manufacturer of Elephant House Ice Creams is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
CICL owns the most modernized Ice Cream manufacturing plant in the South Asian Region.
•Planning & implementing daily operations of respective line(s) order to achieve required monthly volumes.
•Labour administration and allocation
•Managing overall hygiene of the production line (s) to include equipment, work environment and people within specified levels.
•Achieving prescribed material yields and plant efficiencies while managing inventories of the production line(s)
•Maintaining requirements of the Quality management system (QMS) & Food safety management system (FSMS) and Safety Health and Environment management system (SHE) with reference to production line (s)
•Monitoring operation of plant equipment and systems.
•Process control & improvement.
•General degree in Food Science or equivalent or Engineering from a recognized University. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a F & B manufacturing environment.
•Leadership, interpersonal skills, problem solving, negotiating skills, decision making & problem solving.
