HEAD OF CORPORATE BANKING
Duties and Responsibilities

• Formulate business strategies to drive asset and liability portfolios.
• Ensure management of existing relationships and on-board new relationships within strategic scope
• Promote ease of doing business and convenience of banking via effective use of technology
• Manage a highly skilled team of Relationship Managers to drive business growth.
• Improve asset quality and manage impairments at desirable levels through multiple strategies including through Special Asset Management (SAM)
• Ensure people development through continuous development of the staff.
• Implement process improvements to mitigate operational risks and best practices to increase productivity of the staff.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or any relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of banking experience with at least 5 years in a senior position related to Credit in Corporate Banking.

Core Competencies

• Leadership skills to lead and motivate multiple business units with members at different levels of experience and skills in credit evaluation and relationship management with minimal guidance.
• Identify and understand opportunities, risks and structure credit facilities to best fit client requirements while ensuring the Bank’s interests are safeguarded.
• Knowledge on processes and procedures to minimize audit queries, complies with regulatory and internal procedures and manuals.
