EXECUTIVE PRODUCTION (CASUALLINE,MAWATHAGAMA)

We are actively seeking an individual to join our dynamic team of changemakers as an Executive-Production. This role would require you to achieve the budgeted KPIs of the plant through close coordination with the relevant internal teams and thereby achieve the customer requirement’s on Production in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan daily, weekly and monthly delivery schedules as per customer requirement (to achieve 100% DIFOT – delivery on time in full) in order to ensure the customers’ stipulated delivery dates are met, whilst updating the senior team on the status in a timely manner.
  • Closely monitor and follow up the sewing production process with steady focus on maintaining the customer stipulated Quality Standards so as to ensure the production process is carried out as per delivery schedule and approved budget.
  • Identify the abnormalities in the production process with the support of the IE/ Work-study team and there by apply corrective action to eliminate the Root Causes so as to complete the style in a timely manner.
  • Ensure pre-preparation of details pertaining to style changeovers and analyze the styles that are to be planned and the feasibility of the same, so as to ascertain the achievement of the first 3 days efficiency ladder that is vital to achieve the planned overall efficiency and timely output for the given style.
  • Collaborate with HR department representatives to assess and address training needs, optimizing the performance and capabilities of reporting employees.
  • Foster positive employee relations through counseling and establish strong industrial relations within production teams, while actively engaging in performance evaluation activities for immediate staff and worker-level employees.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in relevant fields plus 5 years experience similar production environment and setting. OR 
  • Degree in Textile Clothing/ similar with 2-4 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Possess a comprehensive set of technical skills and knowledge ranging from machinery and attachment expertise, quality standards, lean practices, market trends, and customer requirements to stitching/bonding skills and proficiency in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) compliance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various aspects of garment technology, including knowledge of molding processes, maintenance procedures, machine capacity planning, and expertise in sustainability practices.
