Executive – Planning (BASED AT HORANA)

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to represent the customer face of the Central Planning department in the designated customer category level, liaise with merchandising, product development, technical teams and plant operation teams, to understand the capacity and resource requirements for upcoming orders, secure the capacity and end-to- end order management to deliver goods on time whist meeting organizational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze customer seasonal projections/ supply plans and estimate the future capacity requirements for the relevant brand and block book the plant capacity with Plant Planners in designated plants and alert the stakeholders for over/ under capacity situations where the Customer Planner works with plant planners to find alternatives/ possible solutions to meet customer deliveries and business objectives.
  • Monitor the weekly projections, inquiries   and analyze significant variances, if any and alert business and planning teams and propose possible alternative solutions.
  • Engaging early with merchandising, Product development, integration teams and design houses, to understand technical feasibility/ constraints, resource requirements, process requirements for new styles in pipeline and propose solutions with action plans.
  • Develop a constant dialog with procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow, meeting with raw material suppliers at critical times and make capacity booking for external operations.
  • Follow-up on projections and inquiries with merchandising teams and call out delays in realizing orders and make decision to release capacity or hold, in case of inquiries or when projections are not realized on time.
  • Make timely decisions to resolve disruptions in the planning processes whilst coordinating with relevant teams, ensuring manufacturing plans are feasible and aligned to customer and organizational objectives, by attending weekly/ monthly capacity meetings with Planning team, merchandising teams and customers.
  • Participate/ initiate risk analysis meetings for upcoming new styles and identify the bottlenecks in operation and resources constraints while drawing the attention of other stakeholders for potential roadblocks. Attend daily customer meetings, new style loading, department meetings to formulate necessary solutions and provide feedback/ information.
  • Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contribute towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • BSC Mathematics / Statistics degree /NDT
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a similar field 
  • Management qualification (CIMA) would be an added advantage
  • Data analytics / Quantitative Analysis
  • Statistical Modeling/ Efficient Data Management
  • insightful Decision-Making Scenario Analysis
  • Advance MS Excel, BI Reporting
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to make faster decisions & work with minimum supervision
