BANKING ASSISTANT – FINANCE: PAYMENTS DEPARTMENT
You should ideally;
- possess 03 years of relevant experience in a bank/ financial institution
- be aware of the systems and applications used in the Bank
- experience in the field of accounting / finance will be a definite advantage
- part qualification in chartered/CIMA or full qualification in AAT will be an added advantage
- possess good MS Office skills
- be attentive to detail and maintain accuracy in the assigned tasks
- possess good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to read and speak Tamil
Candidate will be mainly responsible for;
- making entries of general payments to the Oracle financial system
- preparing the payment related documents for authorization
- handling cash advances and dispatching of issued pay orders
- maintaining records relating to payments, invoices and tax related documents
- preparing VAT and other payment schedules
