ASSOCIATE – FINANCE OPERATIONS – GL 

Embark on a journey as an Associate – Finance Operations in the General Ledger department in completing all General Ledger activities on time as per the agreed timelines in Service Level Agreement, assist in continuous process improvements and implement identified measure in order to drive efficiency within the team and SBU.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Actively be involved in continuous process improvement and implement the initiatives in order to drive efficiency within the team and SBUs.
  • Ensure all GL activities are completed on time as per the agreed deadlines in Service Level Agreement and ensure an efficient & effective closing is performed.
  • Ensure Standard Operation Procedures are updated and adhered.
    Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including SBUs and suppliers to maintain a smooth flow of the process.
  • Ensure all allocated reconciliations and reports are reported within the agreed timelines in order to ensure a smooth process.
  • Assist in process/system developments in order to reduce lead times and meet organizational demands.
    Prepare any ad hoc reports / analyses as required in order to facilitate informed decision making within the organization.
  • Train the team members, manage workload distribution and assist team members with workload balancing during peak periods.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Degree /Diploma in Finance / Financial accounting/ Economics / CIMA, ACCA or ICASL or equivalent professional qualification
  • 2 – years of relevant experience
