Browns, one of Sri Lanka's largest diversified conglomerates, is looking for a self-motivated and result-driven professional to join their team as a Senior Executive – Administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor Group-wide administrative services and operations.
- Oversee security, janitorial and housekeeping services, fire protection, CCTV, and surveillance systems.
- Manage building maintenance, facilities, and property management activities, including lease agreements and rent collection.
- Manage fleet administration, overseeing vehicle registrations, insurance renewals, licensing, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor contractors, vendors, and external service providers to ensure agreed service standards are met and resolve operational issues.
- Monitor service costs, quotations, contracts, and administrative expenditure while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Support the implementation of administrative policies, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and prepare regular management reports covering facilities, properties, and fleet functions.
Requirements:
- Education: A Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: More than 5 years of relevant experience in administration, facilities management, property management, fleet management, or a similar role. Experience in a diversified Group environment or previous experience in the Armed Forces, Police Service, or other disciplined services is an added advantage.
- Skills: Strong coordination, negotiation, contractor, and vendor management skills. Good knowledge of administrative procedures and internal controls.
- Attributes: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Technical: Proficiency in MS Office applications.
