🏭 Job : Production Manager – Washing Plant

Orit Apparels Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of the global apparel giant Indochine International and a leading denim manufacturer, is seeking a Production Manager – Washing Plant.

• Job Title: Production Manager – Washing Plant
  • Note: Washing knowledge is specifically stated as NOT essential for this role.
• Location: Seethawaka

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production to achieve targets and meet delivery deadlines.
• Ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout the process.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Cutting, and Quality teams for smooth operations.
• Monitor production performance and take corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity and cost control.

Required Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is a young, self-motivated individual who possesses the following:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in the apparel sector.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Age: Between 28 – 45 years.
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Textile / Garment Production or a related field.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of operation and overall production processes.
  • Excellent leadership, IE (Industrial Engineering), planning, and problem-solving skills.
