Position: Specialist – Sales Support in Freight Forwarding (Sea/Air)
About Us:
Our client is a leading Malaysian company located in Colombo, specializing in freight forwarding services. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Specialist to join our team and support our sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between customers, the Commercial Team, and internal departments.
- Ensure efficient communication, accurate quotation preparation, and outstanding customer service.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage the quotation process, including follow-ups and updates.
- Maintain a customer feedback loop to ensure continuous improvement.
- Utilize Customer Management System (CMS) and CRM integration for effective customer relationship management.
- Handle tariff management, documentation, and reporting.
- Support the Commercial Team with marketing activities and weekly reporting.
- Track KPIs and assist in dispute resolution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven experience in customer engagement, quotation processes, follow-ups, and updates.
- Familiarity with Customer Management Systems (CMS), CRM integration, and tariff management.
- Experience in documentation, reporting, and marketing activities.
