Company Overview:
Our client, a leading Malaysian company with operations in Colombo, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist – Sales Support in Freight Forwarding (Sea/Air) to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless communication between customers, the Commercial Team, and internal departments to deliver exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between customers, the Commercial Team, and internal departments.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for freight forwarding services.
- Engage with customers to gather necessary information and ensure clear communication.
- Follow up on quotations and provide regular updates to customers.
- Manage customer feedback loops to enhance service quality.
- Utilize Customer Management System (CMS) and CRM integration for efficient operations.
- Handle tariff management, documentation, and reporting.
- Support the Commercial Team with marketing activities and weekly reporting.
- Track KPIs and assist in dispute resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in customer engagement, quotation processes, follow-up and updates, customer feedback loops, CMS, CRM integration, tariff management, documentation, reporting, and marketing activities.
- Ability to gather necessary information and ask pertinent questions to support informed decision-making.
