Position: Senior Software Engineer – React Native

About Us:
We are partnering with one of the leading software companies located in Colombo to find a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in React Native. This is a 3-month contract position, offering the opportunity to work on exciting mobile app development projects and contribute to cutting-edge software solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 2+ years using React Native.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native frameworks.
  • Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or Context API).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and mobile app architecture patterns.
  • Experience with deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize and refactor existing codebase for better performance and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
  • Deploy applications to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
