Position: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About Us:
We are partnering with one of the leading software companies located in Colombo to find a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. This is a 6-month contract position, offering the opportunity to lead and mentor a team while contributing to the design and implementation of robust testing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a QA engineer with automation.
  • Experience in QA Automation with Selenium, Playwright, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior QA engineers.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans, including risk assessments and test coverage analysis.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining complex automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), including integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to conduct code reviews for automated tests and provide feedback to improve test quality and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements to the development process.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support on testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, including risk assessments and test coverage analysis.
  • Develop and maintain complex automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), including integration with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements to the development process.
  • Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
