Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Senior Material Developer to join our dynamic team of changemakers. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining our fabric library to the highest standards, ensuring the availability of required materials, and collaborating with suppliers to develop innovative fabrics. You will also negotiate cost-effective prices and ensure timely delivery of materials to support garment costing for merchandisers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize the fabric library to ensure it meets the highest standards.
• Source and develop new raw materials in collaboration with suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective pricing for materials.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to support garment costing processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in textile and material development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of work experience in the Textile and Apparel industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Raw Material Development process.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for innovation and sustainability in the textile industry.
