Job Profile (Key Responsibilities)
- System Administration: Oversee administration, performance monitoring, and optimization of IBM i systems to ensure resilience and high availability.
- AI & Automation: Drive adoption of AI technologies, stay current with emerging LLM and AIOps trends, and reduce manual effort while modernizing data center operations.
- Incident Management: Perform first-level troubleshooting, escalation, and end-to-end incident follow-up.
- Upgrades & Migrations: Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and scheduled primary / DR site switchovers.
- Security & Compliance: Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking, enforce IBM i security hardening, and ensure governance through regular security reviews and monitoring.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal policies.
Applicant’s Profile (Requirements)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a UGC-approved university.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with AIOps tools and platforms is required. Experience in IBM i (AS/400) administration/operation is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Sound communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills, including attention to detail.
