Senior Executive ‐ Sewing Technician
(BASED AT HANWELLA)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and implement standard methods in order to standardize operations at the development stage and ensure standard methods are followed correctly by carrying out periodical audits.
- Attend the Pre-production meetings, Development meetings in order to discuss the critical operations, quality issues, regarding styles and ensure instructions / learning is accurately fed into the process and effectively carried out to facilitate timely operations whilst also taking corrective action when necessary.
- Review Tec packs and ensure that important points have been highlighted to the Production and Quality team and any confusion will be coordinated immediately to the PDC to proceed smoothly to production.
- Identify critical operations at Pre-Production Meetings /development meetings and set up action plan to ensure the required standards can be replicated on the production floor.
- Ensure the Technicians are assisted and guided in an effective manner in carrying out their duties by providing technical advice on garment sewing methods.
- Monitor Technicians performance, training, re-training, calibration of skills, delegation of tasks, capability to communicate and deliver results.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree or Diploma in Apparel/Clothing Technology or a related field.
- 3–4 years’ experience in garment manufacturing or sewing technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and sewing machine operations.
- Ability to read Tech Packs and translate requirements to production teams.
