Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to oversee all quality related activities to ensure finish products achieve customer’s quality requirements in the sewing and cutting floor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the final shipment is audited in a timely and orderly manner in order to release same and handover the relevant reports for recording purposes to facilitate future reference/ decision making.
  • Oversee quality aspects of the pilot run once the Method Study department conducts same, auditing the process, approving/ rejecting same in order to commence bulk production whilst guiding/ advising the relevant teams on related concerns/ best practices.
  • Overlook the issues obtained from the hourly AQL auditors which include production issues/ team issues whilst assisting them in solving same whilst providing guidance and advice on the relevant course of action.
  • Ensure the quality processes pertaining to trim inspections are adhered to and solve issues as and when the need arises in order to ensure customer requirements are adhered to whilst informing the relevant merchants of the status of trims in the event trims are rejected.
  • Oversee the black seal sample process from the time the team leader/ technicians sew the sample until it is checked by the method study auditor in order to give a consent to commence the bulk production for same whist addressing any relevant issues.
  • Lead, direct and motivate the team, monitor performance/ provide feedback, taking steps to develop the skill levels of team members in order to ensure that they possess the skills and knowledge required to meet both current and future challenges effectively whilst handling Customer related training by training teams with regard to quality control aspects.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards in areas such as BPU, compliance standards, MOS, SOPs, health and safety and 5S in all day today activities whilst assisting in relevant projects and ensuring relevant practices/ processes with regard to same are followed within the team.  

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Degree In Statistics or relevant Field.
  • 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Power‐BI and Fluency in English Strong organizational skills.
