Senior Executive ‐ Production 

(BASED AT HANWELLA)

Linea Aqua is a swimwear manufacturer, established as a joint venture between MAS Holdings and Speedo International in 2001. Linea Aqua operates across Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and in addition to swimwear, also offers activewear solutions to select customers, providing a comprehensive service across performance and lifestyle categories. Along with servicing its joint venture partner, Speedo, the company also services premier international brands such as In Private, Aerie, and Land’s End, and is the go-to manufacturer for high-performance swimwear worn by Olympic athletes.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to co-ordinate and load lines as per the production plan and administer the sewing in process & manage the human resources to facilitate the production of garments in order to ensure required quality standards and timely delivery.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To monitor allocated modules, identify shortfalls and communicate same to the respective teams whilst providing necessary guidance.
  • To verify the output on an hourly basis, compare daily production plan, delivery schedule etc. in order to ensure achievement of targets.
  • To attend relevant meetings and gather necessary information whilst, preparing/ maintaining relevant records/ reports in order to facilitate the decision-making process.
  • Maintain the zone end-line FTT, PTP and all aspects related to Production as per the budget whilst ensuring process violations are minimized.
  • Oversee and handle disciplinary and grievance matters whilst, ensuring organizational rules/ procedures are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • To take measures to increase the cut to ship ratio in order to reduce costs whilst, reducing the number of rejected garments as against the ordered quantity.
  • To adhere to 5s standards and lead MOS initiatives within the team.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Degree or Diploma in Apparel/Clothing Technology or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years’ experience in relevant field.
  • Competent in handling disciplinary and grievance matters while ensuring clear communication of rules and procedures.
