Senior Executive Merchandising ‐ Sourcing

Based at Thulhiriya

MAS Matrix is a diversified flat-knit apparel manufacturing facility under MAS Holdings. Matrix houses 1000 Stoll flatbed machines offerings athleisure wear, performance wear, essentials and knit components for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon, Gymshark, Lacoste, Victoria’s Secret and Stoko. Changing business dynamics prompted Matrix to explore innovative product solutions that go beyond the traditional realm of sweaters, launching its latest product platform, MVTM, a collection of highly functional, versatile, and fashion-forward designs

This role would enable you to Yarn sourcing, building supply chain, troubleshooting detection and addressing the concern to supplier, bringing newness and create unique products, budgeting, cost controlling, saving initiatives, cost reduction thereby to achieve profitability in long range plan

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source trims and accessories (labels, zippers, buttons, elastics, packaging) ensuring compliance with brand and MAS standards.
  • Negotiate best prices while maintaining quality, service levels, and meeting target costing requirements.
  • Manage supplier network focusing on quality, lead time, price competitiveness, and sustainability.
  • Introduce innovative materials and trims aligned with market trends and sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to track global/local trends, price fluctuations, and new technologies.
  • Maintain material library and inventory with regular reviews to optimize stock levels and usage.
  • Resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions to meet MAS and customer standards.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Degree in Marketing, Supply Chain or Physical Science 
  • Specific Experience Required Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in production planning, preferably in apparel manufacturing
  • Exposure to knitting, sewing, and product development cycles
  • Good communications skills
