🎯 The Job: Core Purpose

The Senior Executive – Industrial Engineering is responsible for ensuring production efficiency targets are met across assigned sections. This includes:

• SMV/SAH Calculations: Accurate Standard Minute Value (SMV) / Standard Allowed Hours (SAH) calculations.
• Optimization: Line balancing and layout optimization.
• Mentorship: Guiding IE Officers and implementing methods to improve efficiency.
• Compliance: Executing duties related to Health & Safety guidelines, instructions, and protocols of the Organization.

📝 Key Responsibilities

The role focuses on planning, efficiency measurement, and continuous improvement:

• Pre-Production Planning: Achieve Production Start Date targets through effective pre-production planning.
• Daily Efficiency: Ensure daily Industrial Engineering (IE) activities meet planned efficiency and productivity goals.
• Accurate Calculations: Conduct accurate and timely calculations for each style (e.g., SMV/SAH).
• Mentorship: Train and mentor IE Officers.
• Improvement: Drive SMV reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

🎓 Qualifications

• Education/Certification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering / Clothing Technology with a GSD Licence
  • OR experience in working with the GSD system.
• Experience:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering in a large-scale apparel manufacturing entity.
