Major Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Update cashflows on a daily basis.
- Conduct monthly credit card reconciliations.
- Link and enter invoices accurately.
- Process payroll efficiently.
- Update monthly checklists to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Prerequisites for the Ideal Candidate:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Accounting Degree or certifications such as CA, CIMA, ACCA, or AAT (fully or partly qualified).
- If no professional experience, candidates must have completed an educational qualification in Accounting.
- Experience:
- Ideally, 2 years of experience in bookkeeping (preferred).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills (especially for interaction with foreign clients).
- Proficiency in MYOB, XERO, and QuickBooks (advantageous).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Professional email etiquette and clear communication skills (written and verbal).
- Time management skills to handle conflicting priorities effectively.
- Positive “Can do” attitude with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary:
100K–120K (Negotiable based on qualifications and experience).
