Job Description

• Design and implement high-performance database solutions to meet business needs.
• Provide expert advice on database architecture, data modeling, and optimization.
• Lead database migration, integration, and modernization projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align database strategies with business goals.
• Ensure database security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and tuning.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging database technologies and best practices.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
• Document database architectures, standards, and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in database architecture, design, and administration.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Expertise in cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner).
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of database security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and advise on technical solutions.
