About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Executive/Assistant Accountant to join our team in Colombo 7. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a manufacturing environment and possess hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA and advanced Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing Factory-Related Transactions and Processes:
- Purchases, Expenses, Inventory movements, Fixed Assets.
- Ensuring all purchases follow related processes, documents are received, and approvals are in place.
- Booking (MIRO) all domestic material purchase invoices in the SAP system after verification.
- Ensuring supplier invoices are sent to the Head Office on time and acknowledgements are received.
- Monitoring sundry sales in plants.
- GR/IR monitoring and clearing at monthly intervals.
- Factory-related month-end closing provisions.
- Factory Petty Cash Payments:
- Vouching expenses before payment and data entry.
- Ensuring petty cash policy is followed and monthly reconciliation with cash balance.
- Pricing/DCNR Working – Trading & Manufacturing/Retail & Industrial:
- Preparation of pricing workings.
- DCNR workings submission to the sales team for pricing.
- Finalizing price lists with HOF, HOSM, and Country Manager.
- Updating prices into SAP.
- Margin Management:
- Monitoring consumption rates and trends of raw materials.
- Preparing DCNR reports and monitoring trends.
- Analyzing MCNR of manufacturing items and proposing price corrections.
- Tracking productivity initiatives and reviewing monthly with HOF.
- Preparation of monthly margin reports and conducting review meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing-related company.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or ACCA.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S4 HANA and advanced Excel.
- Below 40 years of age.
Salary Range:
- 150K – 180K (Gross)
