Business Unit Overview
Our Business unit is the conduit that assists in the delivery of business opportunities and customer engagement. The unit supports our Sales and Customer Connections teams that facilitate opportunities and quotes that convert into sales, and manage sales processes across the entire product portfolio, before being handed to our Delivery team for provisioning and deployment.
Our Sales Operations team provides a critical function to assist the sale and service delivery of Superloop’s business opportunities. The Sales Operations team support the Wholesale and Enterprise Sales business units by liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure opportunities and quotes convert into sales that are delivered on time with a positive customer experience. Our focus is, and will always be, on the customer throughout this process to ensure Superloop remains the telecommunications provider of choice now and into the future.
Role Purpose
The Sales Operations Officer is responsible for providing internal support to the sales team by promptly raising and processing sales orders, assisting with maintaining effective sales and administrative procedures for the recording of all sales transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers both with lead-in sales and account suppor
- Process sales orders and amendments in Salesforce and provisioning systems, checking data accuracy;
- Manage and administer the database entry of Salesforce and provisioning systems;
- Provide administrative support for production of Agreements, Service Schedules and other formal sales-related documents;
- Liaise with Sales, internal support and technical teams to facilitate the creation of service order forms and processing cancellations;
- Other tasks including order validation and placement, attending calls, and close liaison with suppliers and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2+ years’ experience in an administrative or sales role;
- Experience in providing superior customer service;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders;
- Enjoy working in a high transactional environment;
- Experience with the Microsoft software suite;
- Experience in CRM administration (Salesforce advantageous);
- Experience in the telecommunications industry would be beneficial.
