We are a leading company in the construction and fit-out industry, specializing in flooring projects. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects.

Job Description:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring financial and contractual compliance for flooring fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation for flooring fit-out projects.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
• Assess, negotiate, and manage supplier and subcontractor contracts.
• Monitor and track project costs, identifying potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and site teams to ensure financial and contractual compliance.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting to support project planning and decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, contracts, and regulations.
• Perform detailed take-offs and prepare pricing estimates for flooring fit-out projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to provide accurate cost estimations.
• Assist in preparing and evaluating bids and tenders.
• Liaise with clients, architects, suppliers, and other team members on a regular basis.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying within the flooring or fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in estimating software, Excel, and financial management tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Salary:

• Open to negotiation based on qualifications and experience.
