Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality engineering and experience in test automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated tests for API, UI, and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement quality assurance processes.
  • Perform test estimations, planning, and quality reporting.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Utilize Selenium, Appium, and REST Assured for test automation (experience with Gauge framework is a plus).
  • Ensure the quality of web, mobile, and API applications through rigorous testing.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure best practices in software quality assurance.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for database testing.
  • Use test management tools and browser developer tools to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • BSc. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • 2+ years of post-graduate industry experience in Quality Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of test automation experience in API, UI, or mobile testing.
  • Expertise in Selenium, Appium, REST Assured (Gauge framework is a plus).
  • Experience in Web, Mobile, and API automation.
  • Strong knowledge of test estimations, planning, and quality reporting.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software quality assurance best practices.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, C#, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and integrating automated tests.
  • Good understanding of database technologies (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB) and strong SQL query skills.
  • Familiarity with test management tools and browser developer tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
