About the Role:
Mainframe (Pvt) Limited, a subsidiary of Sumathi Holdings (Pvt) Limited, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance process and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves leading a team of testers, defining QA strategies, and managing both manual and automated testing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in automation tools, and a detail-oriented approach to manual testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA team in overall testing activities, approaches, and strategies.
  • Establish, maintain, and oversee all aspects of QA processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain testing documents (test plans, test cases, test reports) to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Manage the execution of different types of testing (functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc.) by the QA team.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in QA automation, load testing, and API testing.
  • Efficiently manage QA resources across multiple projects.
  • Manage risks and deliverables to ensure testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Conduct QA team performance reviews and implement improvements.
  • Prepare and manage customer demo presentations for project deliverables when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the software industry, including experience as a QA Senior/Lead.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related qualifications.
  • Experience in people management or leading a team.
  • Solid experience in Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with the development and testing of complex enterprise or customer-facing applications, preferably Web API.
  • Certifications and knowledge in cloud technologies such as Azure are a plus.
  • Solid knowledge in Automation Testing.
