Job Description
Assist in performing tyre repair/replacement and maintenance work on Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (GSE), vehicles, and other equipment efficiently and effectively, in a timely manner, either directly or as directed by the Supervisor/Engineer, in compliance with safety regulations.
Job Accountabilities:
- Assist in carrying out all tyre repairs /replace activities of GSE & vehicles to meet the running condition.
- Identify correct tyre brands & sizes required for GSE & Vehicles to ensure smooth performance.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards & work in safe manner to avoid damaging equipment, tools, components, engines, accessories etc.
- Assist in carrying out disassembly/ repair/ assembly/ testing inspections of tyres in compliance with regularity standards and escalate them to the superiors where necessary.
- Verify vehicle/GSE serviceability by conducting test drives to release equipment/vehicles on time.
Requirements
- 6 passes at GCE O/L including a pass for English with 3 years work experience in a Tyre workshop and NVQ level 03 (automobile or mechanical field).
AND - Should possess a light/heavy vehicle driving license.
The upper age limit should be 30 years as of 09th January 2026, which is the closing date.
Be a Sri Lankan Citizen.
Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
