P&E Mechanic (Mechanical)

Job Description

Assist in diagnosing defects and performing repair or maintenance activities under supervision.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Assist in identifying faults and then to Carryout repair, overhaul and maintenance work on automobiles, GSE (Motorized / Non-motorized), Aircraft jacks, tow bars and other mobile / non-mobile equipment under supervision.
  • Attend to hydraulic and pneumatic components, servo mechanisms, and tyre repairs under supervision to ensure the serviceability of GSE.
  • Support in carrying out preventive maintenance work and Performance checks on existing units, including testing, dismantling, re-assembly and final testing to ensure serviceability levels of GSE under supervision.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards & work in a safe manner to avoid damaging equipment, tools, components, engines etc.
  • Check and verify vehicle /GSE serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems to release equipment/vehicles on time under supervision.
  • Attend to emergency repairs during night shifts, including spare wheel replacements.

Requirements

  • 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits including a pass for English and full trade qualification which the duration should be more than 3 years (Mechanical), and should possess a light/heavy vehicle driving license.


            OR

  • 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits including a pass for English and NVQ Level 4 certificate which the duration should be more than 3 years (Mechanical), and should possess a light/heavy vehicle driving license.

The upper age limit should be 30 years as of 09th January 2026, which is the closing date.
