Job Description
Assist in diagnosing defects and performing repair or maintenance activities under supervision.
Job Accountabilities:
- Install electrical component, electrically operated accessories and electrically controlled systems including PLC systems for the proper functioning of the equipment under supervision.
- Assist in identifying electrical faults of GSE and then Repair and/ or replace when required in order to maintain the serviceability levels of GSE under supervision.
- Support in carrying out Preventive maintenance work and Performance checks on existing units, including testing, dismantling, re-assembly and final testing to ensure serviceability levels of GSE under supervision.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards & work in a safe manner to avoid damaging equipment, tools, components, engines etc.
- Check and verify the serviceability of vehicles/GSE by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems to ensure timely release of equipment and vehicles under supervision.
- Attend to emergency repairs during night shifts, including spare wheel replacements.
Requirements
- 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits including a pass for English and full trade qualification which the duration should be more than 3 years (Electrical), and should possess a light/heavy vehicle driving license.
OR
- 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits including a pass for English and NVQ Level 4 certificate which the duration should be more than 3 years (Electrical), and should possess a light/heavy vehicle driving license.
The upper age limit should be 30 years as of 09th January 2026, which is the closing date.
