P&E Mechanic (Air Condition)

Job Description

Assist in performing repair, servicing, and installation of air conditioning systems in Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (GSE), vehicles, and other equipment efficiently and effectively in a timely manner, either independently or as directed by the Supervisor/Engineer.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Assist in carrying out repair and service work on air-conditioning systems in automobiles and GSE.
  • Assist in carrying out maintenance work on existing units, including testing, fault-finding, dismantling, repair or replace of faulty parts, re-assembly and final testing to ensure serviceability levels of GSE.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards & work in a safe manner to avoid damaging equipment, tools, components, engines, accessories etc.
  • Assist in carrying out disassembly/ repair/ assembly/ testing inspections of components in compliance with regularity standards and escalate them to the superior/ senior Technician where necessary.
  • Verify the serviceability of vehicles/GSE by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems to ensure timely release of equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

  • 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits including a pass for English and full trade qualification which the duration should be more than 3 years (Air Condition), and should possess a light/heavy vehicle driving license.


              OR

  • 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits including a pass for English and NVQ Level 4 certificate which the duration should be more than 3 years (Air Condition), and should possess a light/heavy vehicle driving license.

The upper age limit should be 30 years as of 09th January 2026, which is the closing date.

Be a Sri Lankan Citizen.

Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
