Position Overview:
We are seeking a Merchandiser – Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the team from the initial development phase, ensuring timely sample delivery and smooth information transfer to the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the team from the initial development phase.
- Follow up on developments to ensure samples are ready to be shipped on time.
- Request lab dips, strike-offs, and base hangers.
- Monitor the progress of lab dips, base approvals, and the critical path.
- Timely transfer all relevant information to the production team to avoid inefficiencies.
- Oversee sample development to ensure alignment with grade specifications.
- Guarantee on-time delivery performance and timely samples to the customer.
Key Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma or professional qualification in Marketing, Merchandising, or any Garment trade relevant qualification.
- Kids/Baby wear product knowledge will be an added advantage.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Development Merchandiser.
- Strong negotiation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word. Knowledge of ERP/NIS systems will be an added advantage.
