MERCHANDISER

Location – Teejay Lanka PLC – Avissawella

The Job

Developing & maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Understanding and responding to customer requirements in terms of pricing, delivery and fabric requirements.
Follow up from the order placement to the delivery, in order to meet the agreed timelines.
Negotiating and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of fabric.
Performing inventory management, debtor management and other related internal reporting.
Evaluating and analyzing the current processes & systems with the aim of coming up with required changes, which could improve overall efficiencies.

The Person

Should possess BSc degree/Professional Qualification in Marketing/Business Management or CIM/CIMA part/full qualification.
Minimum 1 year experience in similar capacity (preferably from textile and apparel industry)
Knowledge in MS Office/ Excel is a must along with data analytical skills
Strong command in English & Presentation skills
Negotiation & excellent Interpersonal skills
Task prioritization, time management and multi-tasking ability while being a good team player
