Are you a dedicated and compassionate Mathematics teacher with a passion for special needs education? Lyceum International School is seeking a Mathematics Teacher for our Middle School to work with students requiring special educational needs.

Position: Mathematics Teacher (Middle School) – Special Needs Education

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • A recognized teaching qualification in Special Education.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students with special educational needs, preferably in an Edexcel curriculum setting.
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and specialized teaching strategies for students with learning difficulties.

Skills:

  • Patience and empathy to work effectively with students requiring additional support.
  • Creativity in adapting lessons and using tools or resources to enhance understanding for special needs students.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with parents, support staff, and other educators in developing effective teaching plans.
