About the Role:
Join the Most Awarded Bank in Sri Lanka as a Manager – Supply Chain Dealer Finance. This role involves developing and managing dealer financing programs, building strong relationships with dealers and financial institutions, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning the financial aspects of the dealer network with overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dealer Financing: Develop, implement, and manage dealer financing programs, including floorplan financing, retail financing, and working capital loans. Negotiate financing terms and agreements with dealers and financial institutions. Monitor dealer creditworthiness and financial performance, and manage risk to minimize losses.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders. Provide financial guidance and support to dealers, and address inquiries and resolve financing issues efficiently.
• Financial Oversight: Analyze dealer financial statements and performance data. Prepare financial reports and presentations for management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dealer financing and forecast the financial needs of the dealer network.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with dealer financing. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard financial operations.
• Supply Chain Alignment: Align the financial aspects of the dealer network with overall supply chain efficiency. Understand the flow of goods and how financing can support their movement effectively.

Applicant’s Profile:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• An MBA or other advanced degree will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in dealer finance, commercial lending, or a related financial field.
• Strong expertise in risk assessment of lending facilities.
• Industry-specific experience (e.g., automotive, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment) and experience in floorplan financing will be an added advantage.
• Financial Expertise: Strong financial analysis, modeling, and software proficiency, coupled with regulatory knowledge.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Operational Understanding: Solid grasp of supply chain operations.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong computer and spreadsheet skills.
• Personal Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solving, team-oriented, and ethical.
