Job Summary:

Are you passionate about knowledge and supporting academic success? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our library services.

The Role:

• Oversee day-to-day library operations, managing collections, assisting library users, and promoting library services.
• Develop engaging programs and workshops that promote information literacy.
• Manage library management software (KOHA) and OPAC systems to enhance library services.
• Maintain accurate records, statistics, and reports on library usage and acquisitions.
• Contribute to the development of library services using innovative methods for efficiency.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in library science or an equivalent qualification.
• 10 years+ of work experience and at least 03 years of experience managing the function. Those who possess experience in a university or educational institute will have an added advantage.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with library management systems and digital technologies.
• A team player mindset is a must.
