Lecturer (Tenure Track) / Assistant Lecturer (Temporary)

Location: Kandy, Sri Lanka (Note: While your current location is Colombo, this job is specifically in Kandy)

About Us:

Kandy Uni is seeking highly qualified and dynamic individuals to join our team. We are dedicated to disseminating knowledge, mentoring students, and fostering impactful research. We are currently hiring for Lecturer (Tenure Track) and Assistant Lecturer (Temporary) positions in our Departments of Business Management and Computing.

Positions Available:

  • Department of Business Management:
    • Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Department of Computing:
    • Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Software Engineering and Data Science

Lecturer (Tenure Track) Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials.
  • Conduct research and contribute to publications.
  • Mentor and guide students.
  • Participate in curriculum development.

Lecturer (Tenure Track) Requirements:

  • A first- or second-class honors bachelor’s degree or a pass in a bachelor’s degree with a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum one year of teaching, research, or industry experience.
  • Evidence of research output.

Assistant Lecturer (Temporary) Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering lectures and tutorials.
  • Provide support to students.
  • Assist with research activities.

Assistant Lecturer (Temporary) Requirements:

  • A first- or second-class honors bachelor’s degree or a pass in a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a one-year Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
