Role Overview:
As a Junior Tax Executive, you will assist our Lead Tax Analyst in ensuring global tax compliance and completing operational tax workings for Intrepid brand companies. You will compile monthly data for tax calculations for Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Germany, and collaborate with global DMCs and Finance Managers to ensure correct tax policies and procedures are followed. This role offers tax-specific training to enhance your knowledge and skills in performing a successful Tax function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly data for tax calculations for multiple countries.
- Collaborate with global DMCs and Finance Managers to obtain relevant information for tax effect accounting calculations.
- Support the Lead Tax Analyst in data compilation for local IRD tax audits and queries.
- Engage in tax balance sheet reconciliations and journal processing.
- Ensure compliance with global tax policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting, finance, or tax role.
- Undergraduate in Accounting/Management or studying towards an equivalent qualification (CA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Basic understanding or experience in Tax is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to pursue a career in tax.
