🔑 Key Responsibilities
The Intern – Quality Controller will oversee and drive quality control initiatives, focusing on:
- Product Quality: Defining and validating in-house quality and production standards in line with product specifications.
- Documentation: Preparing technical reports, management summaries, batch sheets, test reports, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Compliance & Audits: Supporting global QMS compliance (ISO and others), collaborating on setting and enforcing quality and safety standards, and participating in internal audits/inspections.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyzing statistical data to drive process optimization, supporting training efforts, and managing non-conformance.
- Customer & Service: Reviewing and approving batch documents and helping monitor customer requirements.
- R&D: Contributing to the development and implementation of quality specs for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and final products.
🎓 Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or relevant coursework in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Knowledge or prior exposure to solvent extraction, food manufacturing, or chemical processing is a plus.
- Skills:
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or other relevant certifications.
- Strong interest in quality systems, audits, and compliance processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
