INTERN – LEAN ENTERPRISE | UNICHELA (PVT) LTD ( Based at Panadura )

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuous Flow & Pull Kanban Improvements.
Developing process maps for plant, focus on unloading, Goods Received Notes (GRN), Inspection, Raw Material issuing, Laying, Cutting and Bundling.
Identifying current traveler paths and suggesting improvements.
TLGL [ Developing production floor Team Leaders (TL) & Group Leaders (GL) ]
- Tracking team leader file updates, GL flip chart updates, TL offline status and engaging with TLGL awareness sessions. Assisting TL’s 5 Why and GL’s problem trackers.
Kaizen & Suggestions
- Engaged with Kaizen programs and evaluation process.
Standard Operation Procedure (SOP)
- Created SOP database including the reasons for the version change.
- Introduced QR code for SOP audits.
- Monitored SOP weekly audit status and shared with mail chain.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate or Graduate in Business Management or a related field
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
High proficiency in IT, including expertise in MS Excel
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with lean thinking methodologies
Ability to work well in a team setting
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
