Job Description
🎯 The Job: Core Purpose
The Intern – Garment Technology is responsible for coordinating and providing technical support for assigned products/styles. This involves supporting the entire pre-production development process, including:
- Customer requirements
- Risk assessment
- Consumption costing
- Pattern development
- Sample development/fit sessions
- Sample approvals
- Supporting handover of developed styles to Production.
📝 Key Responsibilities
The intern’s duties focus on supporting development, approval, and handover processes:
- Development Support: Assist in understanding customer requirements and coordinating for pre-sample development requirements, including risk assessment, consumption costing, and validation processes.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Supporting internal and external stakeholders for the achievement of sample development OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Production Handover: Collaborate with concerned internal teams for effective Production Handover of developed styles.
🎓 Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate in Textile / Clothing Technology / Textile Engineering or any other relevant area.
- Skills: Good team player with excellent communication skills.
