Position: Information Security Officer (Head Office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Periodically review and update the IT security policy.
• Identify gaps in existing IT-related policies and procedures and address them by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
• Review company applications for information security issues.
• Provide information security awareness training to key staff.
• Monitor the stability and security of IT infrastructure through regular and ad hoc testing.
• Report IT incidents to management with risk analysis and proposed corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks within stipulated timeframes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management from a recognized university.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCISO, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT.
• Information Security Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor (ISO27001) certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security, preferably in a finance institution.
• Experience in Information Security Policy and Governance is an added advantage.
