🔋 Head of Sales – Battery

We are looking for a result-oriented, dynamic and experienced person to join our Browns Group.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare annual operational budgets by forecasting sales volumes, revenue, and all associated costs (both variable, selling and overheads) and obtain management approval in consultation with the Division.
- Develop periodical and operational business plans to achieve Sales, Gross Profit, Net Profit and Recovery targets in alignment with the Divisional Head.
- Lead and supervise the island-wide sales team to ensure all revenue, and gross profit targets are achieved within specific timelines.
- Drive debtor recovery initiatives across all regions to maintain zero overdue balances.
- Collect and analyze market trends, consumer behaviour and perceptions, and competitor activity while recommending strategic action in consultation with Divisional Head.
- Execute effective sales promotions, branding and marketing activities across all regions to drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen brand credibility and reputation.
- Overseeing after-sales and technical support, ensuring all customer and dealer-related service and complaints are resolved promptly in coordination with relevant teams.
- Coordinate logistics and stock availability, ensuring required inventory levels are maintained at all dealer points island-wide.
- Manage dealer network development including new appointments, dealer relationships and dealer capability in alignment with market expansion strategies.
- Monitor and analyse sales team performance, identify gaps and implement corrective and developmental actions as required.
Personal Profile & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or a related field.
- Master’s Degree or a recognized professional qualification in Sales and Marketing.
- 8-12 years of proven sales experience in battery products, industrial equipment, electrical products or closely related sectors.
- 5 years in a senior sales leadership role, with a strong track record of leading teams and achieving revenue targets.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating high-value contracts and building strategic business partnerships.
