Role Overview:
The Head of Information Technology is responsible for overseeing the entire IT strategy and infrastructure to support the company’s operations. This role involves managing the IT department, ensuring that technology solutions align with the company’s goals, and maintaining robust systems for day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain core systems applications of the organization.
  • Plan, lead, and implement projects, identifying business requirements and opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.
  • Develop enterprise standards, technology architecture, and IT operations governance processes.
  • Provide leadership in complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with group IT to identify and eliminate security vulnerabilities, enhancing data safety and security.
  • Prepare and control the annual IT budget and report on expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputed financial institution or bank, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to drive teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Thorough understanding of finance industry regulations.
