John Keells Information Technology (Pvt) Ltd (JKIT), the consulting and professional IT services arm of John Keells Holdings PLC, Sri Lanka’s largest listed conglomerate, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to join our marketing team. At JKIT, we focus on Strategy, Consulting, Digital, Technology, and Operations, serving large multinational companies worldwide and delivering award-winning solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Job Title: Graphic Design Intern

Department: Marketing

Responsibilities:

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating engaging graphics for marketing campaigns, including infographics, blog images, digital ads, flyers, social media content, and website visuals.
  • Generating innovative ideas and concepts for various marketing and advertising deliverables.
  • Delivering high-quality digital marketing assets, resizing them as needed, and ensuring consistent branding.
  • Collaborating effectively with other team members on creative direction.
  • Handling other marketing and communication-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in graphic designing, visual communication, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD.
  • Knowledge of video editing and animation is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
