🎯 The Job: Core Purpose
The Graduate Trainee – Sourcing & Procurement is responsible for ensuring:
- Raw Material Management: Raw material requirements for customer orders are purchased on time and at the best price to maximize profitability.
- On-Time Delivery (OTD): Ensuring the on-time delivery of bulk orders by continuously monitoring order progress and initiating corrective actions.
📝 Key Responsibilities
The role focuses on material fulfillment, delivery, and record keeping:
- Material Fulfillment: Ensure material fulfillment for smooth production.
- Delivery & Optimization: Follow the time and action plan to achieve a 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD) of garments, along with inventory optimization and reduction of raw material write-offs.
- Stakeholder Relations: Foster effective liaisons with internal and external cross-functional teams, while also building lasting relationships with customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and supplier performance.
🎓 Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- An Internship or prior experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Skills: Fluency in English communication is essential.
