Company Overview:
Our client is a reputed company located in Kelaniya. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with specific experience in audit firms and the commercial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the migration of the accounting system from MYOB to Dynamics ERP system.
- Manage and ensure accurate monthly accounts are submitted to management.
- Handle cash flow management and supervise the activities of assistants.
- Ensure timely release of statutory and compulsory payments.
- Liaise with IRD, banks, external audits, internal audits, and local authorities.
- Utilize prior experience with MYOB/ERP systems and MS Office.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountancy (CASL) qualification is preferable.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an audit firm.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the commercial sector as a Finance Manager.
- Essential ability to handle the migration of accounting systems.
- Prior working experience with MYOB/ERP systems and MS Office.
- Tax knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala (written and oral).
- Male candidates living in close proximity to Kelaniya/Pellyagoda will be given preference.
