About the Role:
Our client, a reputed company located in Kelaniya, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with expertise in accounting systems, tax compliance, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the migration of the accounting system from MYOB to Dynamics ERP system.
- Manage cash flow and supervise the activities of finance assistants.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate monthly accounts to management.
- Handle tax-related matters and liaise with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), banks, external auditors, and local authorities.
- Ensure statutory and compulsory payments are made on time.
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- CASL (Chartered Accountancy) qualification is preferable.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an audit firm and 3 years of experience in the commercial sector as a Finance Manager.
- Essential ability to handle the migration of accounting systems from MYOB to Dynamics ERP.
- Prior experience with MYOB, ERP systems, and MS Office.
- Tax knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (written and oral).
- Male candidates living in close proximity to Kelaniya/Pellyagoda will be given preference.
