External Auditor (SL Calendar – SL Shift)

About the Role:
H Connect International, a leading BPO company and a subsidiary of the Hirdaramani Group, is seeking a dedicated External Auditor to join our team. This role involves conducting and documenting audit procedures, addressing technical accounting issues, reviewing financial statements for compliance, and supporting the audit team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete audit work papers by documenting audit plans, tests, and findings for significant and complex areas.
• Identify and resolve technical accounting and audit issues to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review financial statements to ensure adherence to Accounting Standards and provide reports and insights to management.
• Manage multiple audit engagements concurrently, collaborating effectively with team members.
• Assist in audit team coordination, including training, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with audit methodologies.
• Participate in internal and external training programs to support ongoing professional development.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance efficiency in audit processes and task execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Fully or part qualification of CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CMA, or CIMA.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize work.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Well-developed computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office package overall.
