Executive – Taxation 

MAS Legato is the Shared Service arm of MAS Holdings, currently focused on Finance and HR and looking to expand into more functions within the organization. Our inspiration comes from the possibilities that efficient shared services – the cornerstone of a future-ready organization – can create for an enterprise.                            

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Legato team as an Executive – Taxation to ensure that all Tax related activities are performed timely and accurately with adherence to the policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure prepare output schedule for taxable supplies (Schedules) and timely upload to the RAMIS.
  • Zero rated suppliers – Validate the export sales of against invoice details provided by commercial & share the validated zero-rated supplies with SBU.
  • Local supplier of garment – Validate the value, and revise value for local supply of garment.
  • Validate the schedule and do the amendments to Schedule 3 and Upload Schedule 3 to RAMIS system.
  • Validate the schedule and do the amendments to Schedule 2 and Upload Schedule 2 to RAMIS system.
  • Ensure timely preparation of schedule 6 and upload to RAMIS.
  • SVAT Voucher issuing – Ensure smooth processing of SVAT voucher issuing process.
  • SVAT Voucher Collection – Ensure timely collection of credit voucher for the next month.
  • VAT Payment – Ensure all the arrangement for the VAT payment process.
  • IRD Assessment – Provide required assistant to the IRD assessments.
  • VAT refunds & import credit voucher process – Responsible for handling VAT refunds and import credit voucher process.
  • WHT – With Holding Tax – Responsible for carrying out the With Holding Tax clearance processes for all overseas payments.
  • Stamp Duty – Perform stamp duty process on quarterly basis

Qualifications, Experience, Skill, and Competencies:

  • Degree /Diploma/ Equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline. 
  • Graduate with part qualification in CA/CIMA/ACCA 
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity
