EXECUTIVE – INTERMODAL
Evergreen Shipping Agency Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
JOB OUTLINE
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor transshipment cargo from discharge vessel to onward connection.
- Ensure correct routing, POD, service code, and vessel details are updated in systems.
- Liaise with vessel operators, terminals, feeder operators, and internal departments.
- Monitor discharge and loading status to avoid rollovers and misconnection.
- Handle cargo exceptions such as shut-outs, rollovers, POD changes, and damaged containers.
- Coordinate inter-terminal movements and ensure compliance with IMDG, reefer, OOG, and special cargo requirements.
- Prepare transshipment reports.
- Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in Shipping, Logistics, or Intermodal operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of container shipping and transshipment operations.
- Familiarity with terminal operations, vessel schedules, and Principal systems.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with external/internal parties.
- Ability to work under pressure.
